Ways to build student confidence and speaking skills

It could be difficult for some students to come out of their shells, engage more in the subject, or speak up more during class. In addition, it is our responsibility as teachers to help children develop their abilities and to offer them the support and tools they need in a "safe" environment so they can talk more freely and confidently.

In this workshop, participants will practice the following:

Discuss how to create a warm and expressive learning atmosphere in your classroom.
Go over and perform a number of strategies and activities that motivate young learners to speak up more in class.
Know how to progressively assist students in speaking and interacting more, both of which are critical to their success in language acquisition.
